Lauren Poole graduated from The University of Chicago and has been involved in real estate ever since. Working in and around every asset class of real estate, Mr. Poole has a vast knowledge of the ins and outs of all facets of the real estate business. Throughout the last decade, Mr. Poole has been developing and investing in various mixed use projects in Mexico City. With vast market knowledge and great local connections, he has been able to use his competitive advantages to yield significant returns.

New Harbor RE was founded to take advantage of the above average, risk adjusted returns available in the Mexico City residential and mixed use real estate market.. Our founding partners have over 35 years of development and real estate investment experience and over the past 15 years have been developing and investing in hospitality and residential real estate in Mexico. Over that period, we have developed significant competitive advantages which yield above average IRR's for our projects. Madison Poole graduated from UCLA in 2013 and has been actively engaged in the real estate business ever since. His first role as Director of Operations for Midtown Properties in Houston, TX allowed him the opportunity to manage 20 apartment buildings and over 350 units. After moving to Phoenix, AZ, Mr. Poole continued working in real estate, this time as a commercial broker for Western Retail Advisors, the leading boutique retail firm in the southwestern region. After working for years with various high profile tenants and landlords, Mr. Poole was drawn to the investment world and what better partner than his father.

Laurent Poole has over 30 years of real estate development and operating experience both US and International. This experience is over a broad spectrum of asset classes: office, high tech, industrial, retail, hospitality, multifamily and mixed use. Laurent is a principal real estate investor and founded New Harbor RE to focus on Mexico City real estate development. In the recent past, Laurent was one of the co-founders and owners of Global Hospitality Investments, LLC and served as President and CEO. Among the hotels that GHI owned were the Fairmont Acacpulco Princess, Fairmont Pierre Marques and the Hamilton Princess in Hamilton, Bermuda. Prior to creating GHI, Laurent was the COO of The Sabey Corporation, one of the Pacific Northwest’s preeminent real estate investment, development and construction firms. Laurent holds a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
